Ensign Thomas Mauger

Joined the US Naval Sea Cadets in January 2023 in South Carolina. Moved to New York in March of 2023 and joined the James B Stockdale Division as the Operations Officer.  Appointed to the officer's corps in January of 2024 as an Ensign. In November of 2024, joined the National Recruiting Team as an Area Recruiting Officer for the Northeast Region.  May of 2025 was appointed as the Commanding Officer of the Hyman G. Rickover Division.

Joined the US Navy in 2021 as a Nuclear Electronics Technician Submarines (Reactor Controls Division). Completed boot camp in Great Lakes, then stationed in Goose Creek, SC. While in Goose Creek, completed Nuclear Field A school, Power School, and Prototype aboard the MTS-635 Sam Rayburn.  In March 2004 was assigned to the USS Hyman G Rickover, SSN-709. Completed multiple workups and 2 deployments to the North Atlantic. Honorably discharged from the US Navy in Feb 2008 as part of the decommissioning crew of SSN-709.
